GreatSchools weighs test performance against schools serving similar student populations. The Texas Education Agency’s rating, below, is the state’s own official measurement and the one used for school accountability purposes.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
Westwood High School earned an overall A (score of 95) in the Texas Education Agency’s 2026 accountability ratings (the 2025-26 school year), released in August 2026. Westwood has now earned an A in every one of the last five rating years, with scores between 93 and 96, and it earned an A in every domain in 2026.
- Overall TEA Rating (2026): A (95)
- Student Achievement: A (96), based on STAAR end-of-course results, graduation rates, and college, career and military readiness
