What Do Bowie High School Neighborhoods Look Like?

You’ll find a range of neighborhoods in the Bowie High School District. Traveling south from 290 between Brodie and Manchaca, you’ll find the more established neighborhoods that were built in the 1970s and 1980s. As you head further south, you’ll get neighborhoods that are a bit newer, built in the 1990s and early 2000s. But, even the newer neighborhoods have established trees, which is a big draw for someone looking for a more unique area. If you’re looking to be as close to Downtown Austin as possible, this area is a great place to focus your search.

West of MoPac you’ll find Circle C, which ranges from 1980s in the earlier sections to sections that are currently being developed. The sections south like Greyrock and Avana that are currently in development have more modern homes, but fewer established trees. The original section of Circle C is where you’ll find tree lined streets, but older homes. Some have been updated and others are in original condition. If you like the idea of a conveniently located, master planned community with its own shopping, restaurants and entertainment, this area is where to focus.

Northwest of Circle C, you’ll find a more spread out feel. Some of the neighborhoods have acreage lots and some do not have HOAs. If you’re looking for a more Texas feel, this is the area to start your search.
