How to Confirm a Home's School District
- Check the county appraisal district record. Travis, Williamson, Hays and the other appraisal districts list every taxing unit for a property, including its school district.
- Use the district’s school finder. Most districts have an online address lookup that also shows the elementary, middle and high school for that address. Our district pages link to each one.
- Read the MLS listing carefully. Listings show the school district and campuses, but they are entered by the listing agent and are occasionally out of date after a rezoning.
- Ask us. We check the district and campus zoning for every home our buyers are serious about, and we can tell you about any rezoning a district is planning.
