You’ll also find Circle C Catering, which is open nightly for late lunch/dinner, basketball courts, sand volleyball court and kids’ playground. The second amenity center is located at Lacrosse and Spruce Canyon. There you’ll find a resort style pool with water slide, meeting room available for gatherings with commercial kitchen and park. The third amenity center is found in Avana at Trissino Dr and Escarpment Blvd. There you’ll find a community pool, picnic pavilion and playscape. Throughout Circle C, you’ll find 5 HOA maintained parks which are located in Vintage Place, Park Place, Wildflower Park, the Swim Center and at Circle C Metro Park. Circle C Metro Park has nearly 550 acres of open space, 2 miles of walking trails, 18 hole disc golf, soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, playground and picnic tables. Slaughter Creek Trails are located just off 1826 and are one of the area’s best kept secrets. There are rarely people there and you can see lots of wildlife as you run or bike.

Lake Pointe is Circle C’s closest price competitor — similar home sizes, but in Lake Travis ISD with a lower property tax rate (~1.6% vs. Circle C’s ~2.0%) and a lakeside Hill Country setting. If Austin ISD is the priority, Circle C wins on location. If lower taxes and a quieter feel matter more, Lake Pointe is worth a serious look.
Reunion Ranch in Dripping Springs is often considered alongside Circle C but is actually pricier — larger homes (median 3,289 sq ft) at a higher median price ($850,000), with a much slower market (42-day median DOM vs. 16 in Circle C), suggesting lower demand relative to inventory.
Shady Hollow is the more affordable alternative — same zip code and Austin ISD, with a median price of $620,500 (roughly $169,000 less than Circle C). The trade-off: no master-planned amenities and older homes on larger lots.
Circle C Property Tax Rate
The property tax rate in Southwest Austin’s Circle C neighborhood is 2.0465% as of the 2025 tax year, up from 1.9818% as of the 2024 year. It was 1.8092% as of the 2023 tax year, down from 1.9749% as of the 2022 tax year. The property tax rate was 2.1767% as of the 2021 tax year.

The Grey Rock Golf Course, formally the Golf Club at Circle C, is a stunning 160 acre public golf course filled with rolling hills and hundreds of live oaks. Things to Do Near Circle C
One of the reasons that people choose to live in Circle C are for the amenities surrounding the community. Besides being in close proximity to Downtown Austin, an easy drive to Lake Austin and Lake Travis, and having a great golf with in the Circle C community; there is recreational areas right at your doorstep and plenty of shopping nearby. The Circle C Swim Center is one of the largest in Austin. It is also the only Olympic-sized heated outdoor pool which allows the pool to be open all year. A few of the recreational areas are the Lady Bird Johnson Center, The Circle C Metropolitan Park and the Veloway. The Veloway is Southwest Austin’s first paved trail exclusively for bicycles and rollerblading. The Shops at Arbor Trails and the Sunset Valley Shopping Center offer plenty of shopping options for the Circle C community.

Places to Eat Near Circle C
Circle C is not lacking for great places to eat. The Satellite Bistro is definitely the place to go with a large group as the menu offers something for everyone. Looking for good food and live music? You can’t go wrong with the Waterloo Icehouse. District Kitchen is a recent addition to Escapement Village and has gotten high praise for their American food and cocktails. If you’re looking for some comfort food, Mangieri’s Pizza Cafe is a great choice. Breakfast or lunch tacos? Try Tacodeli.
Coffee Near Circle C
Looking for coffee? The closest is the Starbucks in the Escarpment Village and is within walking distance of some Circle C homes. Summermoon has opened up a new location at Slaughter and MoPac for another (in my opinion better) coffee option without having to leave the neighborhood.
Where to Work Out – Gyms Near Circle C
There are 3 major gyms all within 5 miles of the Circle C Community. If you want a gym that has everything, there is Lifetime Fitness. If you’re just looking for a good workout, there is Gold’s Gym. If you have a hectic schedule and your need to work out at irregular hours, there is the Planet Fitness. If you’re looking for a more boutique style gym, try Girl Power Fitness in Circle C. Orangetheory and barre3 have also opened up locations in Circle C, so there are plenty of options no matter what your favorite gym activity is.
Fun Things to Do Near Circle C
Beyond the amenities, residents love the day-to-day recreational and entertainment options:
