Membership in the HOA is voluntary, but it does include lake privileges and park access for less than $100/year. Mots of the homes in Valley Lake Hills were recently built, and we are seeing an increase in brand new construction. As development heads west on Hamilton Pool Road, the Deer Creek Ranch neighborhoods are filling in. Valley Lake Hills does not have a community pool. Instead, Valley Lake Hills is one of the Deer Creek Ranch neighborhoods that can join the voluntary Deer Creek Ranch Parks and Lakes Association. Membership is optional and gives you access to 33 acres of parkland and lakes, including hiking trails, fishing, paddling and water access, a beach, a gated playground and a volleyball area.
