Mountain Creek Lakes is one of the neighborhoods in the Deer Creek Parks and Lakes HOA. Membership in the HOA is voluntary, very affordable and does provide access to some amenities. Mountain Creek Lakes has gone through a few periods of growth throughout the years. With the influx of residents in the Dripping Springs and Lake Travis areas, Mountain Creek Lakes is seeing quite a bit of new construction, including some more modern looking homes that you’d expect to see Downtown. Some of the neighborhood is paved, while other sections are unpaved, giving it a rural, Hill Country feel. Lots are about 1/4-1/3 of an acre, so it is the ideal choice for someone looking for a rural feel but doesn’t want to maintain acres of land. Mountain Creek Lakes does not have a community pool. Instead, Mountain Creek Lakes is one of the Deer Creek Ranch neighborhoods that can join the voluntary Deer Creek Ranch Parks and Lakes Association. Membership is optional and gives you access to 33 acres of parkland and lakes, including hiking trails, fishing, paddling and water access, a beach, a gated playground and a volleyball area.
