High Meadows is one of Cedar Park’s smaller neighborhoods and was built during the mid 1990s to early 2000s. Homes are a modest size, with an average size of 1,511 square feet with lots around 1/5 acre, so they are perfect for someone who doesn’t want a huge space to maintain but still wants a little space between you and the house next door. Inside, you can expect more sectioned off layouts in the earlier homes and more open layouts in the homes that were developed later. Some have been fully upgraded and others remain in their original conditions. Trees and landscaping have matured, so there is quite a bit of greenery around the neighborhood. High Meadows was built by Main Street Homes and Lennar Homes and is not bounded by an HOA, making it one of the few neighborhoods in Cedar Park where you can find a home built by one of Austin’s production builder but don’t have to belong to an HOA. The absence of the HOA does give residents some flexibility to use their properties as they see fit, rather than having a list of rules to follow.
