Parmer Lane has become quite the hub for Austin’s tech companies. And, with Apple’s announcement to build a brand new campus at Parmer and McNeil, we would expect more tech companies to set up shop nearby. If you’re in the tech industry and are looking for a centralized location to buy a home in Austin to hedge your bets from an unbearable commute if you change companies, living near the Parmer Lane tech corridor makes sense. Here are the neighborhoods where you can find homes near Parmer Lane’s tech corridor.

What Tech Companies Have Offices Along Parmer Lane?

Though Parmer Lane is not the only location where you’ll find tech companies in Austin, there are quite a few with offices there. The biggest companies include Apple, Electronic Arts (EA), Polycorn, eBay, PayPal, Oracle, HID Global, Dell, GM IT Innovation Center, The Home Depot Technology Center, General Motors, Allergan, 3M and Samsung.

Where are Tech Companies Located along Parmer Lane?

Tech companies are located along the entire span of Parmer Lane which goes from 130 to 45 in a northwest to southeast diagonal. The larger facilities tend to be located east of 35 and the office buildings tend to be located west of 35. These companies have made Parmer Lane a well traveled traffic artery.
