For those do it yourselfers out there, here is a great event to get some ideas on updating your Austin home. This weekend, the Home and Garden Show comes to Austin.
Austin Home and Garden Show – Why Go?
The Austin Home and Garden Show offers thousands of square feet of exhibits featuring everything home, everything garden and a whole lot more. There will be builders and contractors to answer all your home and improvement questions. There will be the latest and greatest products and materials for decks, pools, storage ideas, entertainment systems, landscaping, kitchens and bathrooms. There will also be a live cooking demonstration, a pet zone for pet adoptions, an interactive kid zone and even celebrities.
Celebrities at the Austin Home and Garden Show?
For all of you HGTV and PBS groupies out there, you will get a chance to meet Kevin O’Connor, host of PBS’s “This Old House” and Frank Fontana from HGTV’s “Design on a Dime”. Each host will be on the celebrity stage giving you a behind the scenes look of their popular TV shows and a few home improvement tricks and tips to take home with you and your garden.
Austin Home and Garden Show – When and Where?
The 13th Annual Austin Home and Garden show starts this Friday, January 14th and runs through Sunday, January 16th.
- Friday January 14th: 2:00 – 7:00pm
- Saturday January 15th: 10:00 – 7:00pm
- Sunday January 16th: 11:00 – 5:00pm
The Austin Home and Gardens Show will be held at the Austin Convention Center at 500 E. Cesar Chavez Street, 78701.
Austin Home and Garden Show – How Much?
All tickets for the Austin Home and Garden Show are sold on-site and only during show hours. The admission costs are:
- Adults 17+ – $7.50
- 16 & under – Free
- 65+ $6.00 (All Weekend)
- Convention Center Parking $7.00
