It’s one of the most well-used parks in the area and a great spot for outdoor recreation year-round.
Forest Creek Golf Club is just minutes away and offers an 18-hole course popular with area residents. Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is a short drive from Forest Ridge and home to one of the largest indoor waterparks in the United States. Dell Diamond, the home ballpark of the Round Rock Express Triple-A baseball team, is also nearby and hosts games throughout the spring and summer.

Forest Ridge sits within close reach of Round Rock’s main retail corridors. Round Rock Premium Outlets is about 10 minutes away with more than 125 stores. La Frontera Village on University Boulevard has a Target, Home Depot, Kohl’s, and a variety of restaurants. Sam’s Club and Lowe’s are also close by, and an HEB grocery store serves the area for everyday needs.
For dining, the stretch of TX-79 and University Boulevard near Forest Ridge has a wide range of options from local spots to national chains. Historic downtown Round Rock, about 10 minutes away, adds independent restaurants, coffee shops, and local retail to the mix.
