Leander High received a B (89) in the Texas Education Agency’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, one point short of an A and down from an A (90) in 2024-25. Student Achievement, which for high schools is based on STAAR end-of-course results, college, career and military readiness, and graduation rates, slipped from an A (92) to an A (91). School Progress, which measures student growth, improved from a C (79) to a B (85), and Closing the Gaps, which tracks how each student group performs against state targets, held at a B (85). Leander High was not identified for any federal support and improvement designation. Over the longer run the school has moved between high B and low A ratings, with an A (91) in 2018-19, a B (87) in 2021-22, a B (86) in 2022-23 and an A (91) in 2023-24. Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. The 2022-23 and 2023-24 ratings were delayed by litigation over TEA’s methodology and were not released until 2025.

Leander High Attendance Zone Map
Leander High’s attendance zone covers about 18 square miles of south and central Leander and part of northern Cedar Park. Its biggest neighborhoods by sales are Rosenbusch Ranch and the Crystal Falls communities, including Bluffs at Crystal Falls, Grand Mesa, Highlands and the Fairways, followed by Carriage Hills and Crossing at Carriage Hills, Mason Creek, Carneros Ranch, Lakeline Ranch, Westwood, Cedar Brook and Vista Ridge, the Leander neighborhood of that name. Gann Ranch and Heritage Park on the Cedar Park side are also in the zone. Nearby high school zones are Glenn High to the north, Rouse High to the east, Vista Ridge High to the southeast and Cedar Park High to the south and west. To confirm the school for a specific address, use Leander ISD’s School Zone Finder.
The zone was redrawn in Leander ISD’s 2023 secondary rezoning, which took effect in 2024-25. Leander High took in 13 neighborhoods from Glenn High and sent 13 to Cedar Park High, and its zone ended up about 14% larger by area. Based on Leander ISD’s boundary maps, the areas that came from Glenn are most of the Camacho Elementary zone in central Leander, including Cedar Brook, Vista Ridge and Westview Meadows, and the southern part of the Bagdad Elementary zone, including Rosenbusch Ranch, Westwood and Carneros Ranch. Together they make up about 37% of today’s zone. The areas that left for Cedar Park High include Travisso. The zone finder still shows a separate 11th-12th grade layer with the old boundaries, but the last class allowed to stay at its old high school graduated in 2026, so the 9th-10th grade layer now serves as the zone for every grade. Some MLS listings in the former Glenn areas still name Glenn, so check the zone for a specific address rather than relying on a listing’s school field.
Homes Zoned to Leander High: Market Stats
The figures below cover single-family homes sold through Unlock MLS that sit inside Leander High’s current 2026-27 attendance zone. We pulled every Leander ISD sale, matched each address to Leander ISD address points (or a geocoder for the few that did not match) and checked it against Leander ISD’s official Leander High boundary, regardless of which school the listing named. Most of these sales are in Rosenbusch Ranch and the Crystal Falls neighborhoods, with smaller numbers in Carriage Hills, Mason Creek, Mason Ranch, Crossing at Carriage Hills, Carneros Ranch, Lakeline Ranch and Westwood.
3-Year Closed Sales Trend

| Sept 2023 – Aug 2024 | 500 | $454,950 | $209.20 | 98.1% | 32 days |
| Sept 2024 – Aug 2025 | 516 | $467,990 | $207.04 | 98.0% | 49 days |

Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Single-family homes only, including condo-regime homes. Each address was matched to Leander ISD address points and checked against Leander ISD’s official 2026-27 attendance-zone boundary. For high school zones we used the zone finder’s 9th-10th grade high school layer, which reflects the 2024-25 rezoning and now serves as the zone for all grades. Sales before the 2024-25 school year include homes that were zoned to Glenn High at the time and are included because they sit inside today’s Leander High zone. Sale-to-list ratio is the median of each sale’s close price divided by its final list price. Days on market is cumulative days on market.
The median sale price in the Leander High zone was $425,000 over the trailing twelve months, 9.2% below 2024-25’s $467,990 and 8.1% below the $462,500 median of 2022-23. Price per square foot fell to $195.97, down 5.3% from 2024-25 and 11.7% from the 2022-23 peak of $221.94. The median home sold was about 2,340 square feet, close to the size in earlier years, so the decline reflects lower prices rather than a shift toward smaller homes. The zone’s median sale price is well below the Leander ISD median of $535,000.
Sales have held up. 558 homes sold over the past twelve months, up 8.1% from 516 in 2024-25 and 7.9% from 517 in 2022-23, the most of the four periods, and 36 of them were new construction. The median time on market was 49 days, the same as in 2024-25 but up from 34 days in 2022-23, and a little faster than the Leander ISD median of 54 days. Sellers received a median of 98.0% of their final list price, a ratio that has stayed close to 98% in all four periods.
Current Inventory Snapshot
As of October 2, 2026
| Status | Count | Median List Price | Median Days on Market |
| Active | 178 | $469,990 | 64 days |
| Active Under Contract | 23 | $399,999 | 59 days |
| Pending | 25 | $464,740 | 56 days |
Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Same zone check as above. Days on market is cumulative days on market.
226 homes are currently active, under contract, or pending in the Leander High zone. With 178 active listings against about 46.5 sales a month over the past year, the zone has roughly 3.8 months of inventory, which leans toward sellers even as prices have eased.
The median active list price of $469,990 is above the trailing-twelve-month median sale price of $425,000, partly because 37 of the active listings are new construction. Active listings range from $279,900 to $1,825,000, with 53 priced under $400,000 and 15 at $1 million or more. Active listings have been on the market a median of 64 days. Only 23 homes are under contract and 25 are pending, so the medians for those two groups say less about the typical home in the zone.
