Austin Named One of 15 Hottest American Cities for 2015

November 28, 2014 By Rebecca Jacks

As we put another Thanksgiving in the books and are coming up on the end of 2014, a lot of us are probably starting to look to next year and what 2015 might bring. If 2015 includes a relocation for you, you probably want to make sure it’s the right move so you don’t have to move again. When we were considering relocating to Austin, we looked at a lot of different cities and ultimately settled on Austin, in some part, due to it’s thriving economy and booming job market. So far, it hasn’t disappointed.

Why Austin Over the Other 14 Hottest American Cities for 2015?

For us, Austin had everything we were looking for, was affordable and was an area full of transplants where a new person could fit in. With the exception of 6-8 weeks in the Summer, the weather is pretty pleasant and we don’t have a harsh Winter. Coming from San Francisco, where it felt like everyday was Winter, the weather was a nice change. Austin also has a booming economy and job market while maintaining a work-life balance. If you like the outdoors or festivals, there will always be something for you to do in Austin. And, because it’s also affordable, you’ll have the money to do it!

Considering Relocating to Austin – One of the Hottest American Cities?

We relocated to Austin from San Francisco about 5 years ago for a lot of the same reasons you might be thinking of relocating, and our city has not disappointed us. Austin has no shortage of things to do and although it gets hot for 8 weeks during the Summer, it is pretty temperate the rest of the year. If you’re thinking about relocating to Austin and want an honest opinion from someone who’s done it, we’re happy to help. We’re also pretty good at helping you find the best area of town to live and negotiating great deals, even in our strong real estate market.
