Located just 15 miles west of Georgetown, Liberty Hill is one of the fastest growing cities in Williamson County. With a population of just over 3,500 in the 2020 census, you’d get the sense it was a sleepy little town. Though that was true 10 years ago, you’ll see a different story when you drive through. You’ll still see the mom and pop business, but you’ll also start to see larger chains like Starbucks along Highway 29. It used to be lower cost of living and a slower pace of life that drew buyers to Liberty Hill, but now we can add top rated school district as well. The Liberty Hill ISD is one of the top rated districts in the Austin area and is another reason for the explosive growth. You’ll find everything from traditional, suburban looking neighborhoods with homes on more manageable lots to larger luxury homes on acreage lots to ranches with several acres. Though it is growing, Liberty Hill is maintaining its small town Texas feel, which is another big draw. They have a quaint downtown area with a couple of restaurants, bars and shopping, as well as some larger stores along Highway 29.
