Austin 4th of July Fireworks 2012

4th of july fireworks austin 2012Unlike last year, 2012’s 4th of July will include fireworks for Austin residents and visitors! Check out the list below for several places around town you can go to see the show.

Auditorium Shores – Austin Symphony

Admission: Free
Fireworks Show: 9:30pm

Address: 800 W Riverside, Austin 78704

The Austin Symphony will begin playing patriotic music at 8:30pm with the fireworks show starting at 9:30pm. Attendees can watch from Auditorium Shores and park in the Long Center Parking, Texas One Center, Palmer Event Center Parking or in one of the Downtown lots – all only a few blocks walk.

Cedar Park Fireworks

Admission: Free
Fireworks Show: 9:15pm

Address: 1901 Sun Chase Blvd, Cedar Park

This year, Cedar Park will host its annual 4th of July celebration starting at 4pm. There will be live music, video games, laser tags, watermelon, games for the kids, food and of course fireworks.

Volente Beach Water Park

Admission $8 after 8pm
Fireworks Show: Dusk

Address: 16107 Wharf Cove, Volente, TX

Volente Beach Water Park is known for its spectacular fireworks show year after year. This year will be no different. The show will begin at dusk. For a day of fun, take the kids to the water park.

Round Rock Fireworks Show – Old Settlers Park

Admission: Free
Fireworks Show: 9:30pm

Address: 3300 Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX

Round Rock will continue its 4th of July tradition in 2012 with a full day’s worth of festivities at Old Settlers Park. Start at 10am with the parade, then check out the face painting, caricatures, carnival rides, shoot out show, cowboy sing-a-long, rubber duck race, games, watermelon, live music, movie and fireworks!

4th Of July Brew-B-Que Festival & Fireworks Buda

204 San Antonio Street, Buda

Admission: Free for Fireworks, $15 for Festival
Fireworks Show: Dusk

Buda’s annual festival includes micro brewery tastings, lumber jack competition, live music, chihuahua dog races and much more. The festival starts at 11am and fireworks start at dusk. Admission is free if you just want to watch the fireworks or $15 for the day’s events.

Kyle’s Independence Day Celebration 2012

Address: 750 County Road 171 Kyle

Admission: Free
Fireworks Show: 9:30pm

This year Kyle again will celebrate the 4th of July with its annual fireworks show. Fireworks will be displayed over the golf course and live music will be played in the clubhouse.

Georgetown Fireworks – San Gabriel Park

Address: McMaster Athletic Fields on N. College Street

Admission: Free
Fireworks Show: 9:30pm

For the 29th year in a row, Georgetown will celebrate the 4th of July with their festival and fireworks show. The festival begins at 11am with tons of activities for all ages. Fireworks can be viewed from San Gabriel Park, VFW Park, and other areas in Georgetown.
