Low Theodore Heights is located in the heart of South Austin, so you’ll never find a shortage of things to do. Some of the local favorites include Zilker Park for events like The Kite Festival, Zilker Tree Lighting and Austin City Limits. Even when there’s no activities scheduled in Zilker Park, its a great place to spend an afternoon with a picnic or throwing the ball around. On a hot day head to Barton Springs Pool a natural spring with places to sit along the sides. The water is freezing cold, even in the summer, but if you can’t take the water, its a great place to get some sun. Downtown Austin is also just a few minutes away. Head in for dinner or just to walk around 6th Street and people watch.
