Spanish Oak Terrace Neighborhood Guide

One of Round Rock’s best kept secrets, Spanish Oak Terrace is one of the city’s most unique treasures. Homes sit on 4-5 acres, so everyone has space to spread out. And, located smack in the middle between Round Rock and Cedar Park, it is super convenient to shopping, dining, restaurants, doctors and virtually any other amenity you can find. The wild card is will you find a house for sale there, cause those are rare. When people move to Spanish Oak Terrace, they rarely leave, and for good reason. You have to go to Leander, Liberty Hill or Georgetown to find this kind of acreage in a cohesive neighborhood setting. If you’re looking to stay closer to Austin or Round Rock, Spanish Oak Terrace is a great option. Homes vary architecturally and range from 2,000-5,000 square feet. The majority of homes were built in the 1970s and 1980s when Round Rock was a far away suburb or Austin, which makes sense why they made lots so large. The south end of the neighborhood backs to Brushy Creek, so some homes might enjoy waterfront when the creek is flowing. There is no access from 1431, so traffic is kept to a minimum, preserving its rural “country” feel. If you’re looking for acreage, but don’t want to be too far from amenities, you can’t do much better than Spanish Oak Terrace. Scroll Down to Read Our Spanish Oak Terrace Neighborhood Guide.
