The median price of an Austin luxury home was $1,370,000 in September 2023 compared to $1,290,000 in September 2022, showing a 6.2% increase in year over year numbers. Last month, in August 2023, the median price was $1,325,000, showing a 3.4% increase in month over month numbers.
28% Decrease in Austin Luxury Homes Sales
In September 2023, there were 165 luxury homes that closed escrow in Austin compared to 231 in September 2022, marking a 28% decrease in year over year numbers. Last month, in August 2023, the number of luxury homes that sold in Austin was 229, showing a 28% decrease in month over month numbers.
