Pflugerville, TX is served by the Pflugerville ISD. Pflugerville ISD is a strong school district, earning TEA’s second highest rating Recognized. Pflugerville ISD serves 95 sq miles of kids in a portion of the following cities: Pflugerville, Austin, Round Rock, Manor, Hutto and Coupland. Pflugerville ISD has over 20,000 students enrolled in one of its 23 campuses. Enrollment was only 10,000 just 10 years ago and is expected to double to 40,000 students over the next 10 years.

Blackhawk Golf Club is a links style course designed by Charles Howard and Hollis Stacy. Blackhawk boasts rolling hills among 18 holes of championship golf on a links style course. For a fun afternoon, head over to Lake Pflugerville where you’ll find a 3 mile hike and bike trail, fishing pier and non-motorized water sports like swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing. If you’re looking for a Zilker Park substitute, try Pfluger Park on City Park Road. You’ll find a public pool, hike and bike trail and a shaded playground for the kids. Looking for some place to take your pup? Try Northtown Park for a leash free doggy play park where you’ll find areas for the little dogs and the big dogs. Their injera bread (similar to sourdough) is a must try especially with their meats and vegetables.
