A small neighborhood of one street, Jackrabbit Run, located off Red Bud Lane, Jackrabbit is one of Round Rock’s more unique neighborhoods. Most of Round Rock is mid size to large master planned communities of homes on smaller lots. Jackrabbit is a community of homes on 1 1/3 – 1 3/4 of an acre, making it one of the few places you can find a house on a lot larger than about 1/2 acre in Round Rock. Homes were built slowly from the mid 1980s to the early 2000s with most finishing out by the mid-1990s. Back then, Red Bud Lane was not nearly as developed as it is today, so these homes have seen a lot of growth in the recent past. But, with acreage size lots, the surrounding growth won’t feel so close. If you’re looking for space, but don’t want to be all the way out in Georgetown or Liberty Hill, Jackrabbit is a great place to start your search.
