Located just across Lake Austin, its hard to think of Rollingwood as its own city and not just another West Austin neighborhood. However, Rollingwood has been a city with its own fire, police, EMS and court system since 1955. In 2000, the city’s population was 1,403 and dropped in the 2005 estimate to 1,359 people.
