Camp at Emma Long Park. Yes, it may sound weird that I would suggest you camp so close to your home, however, why drive out in the middle of nowhere when you can be at this beautiful camp site in 10 minutes? The kids will love to bring the boat to the lake (Emma Long has 2 boat ramps), play some volleyball at night and sleep under the stars. There are 46 tent sites and 20 are available with water and electricity hook ups.

Take your dog to the off leash park at Emma Long park. Your dog will love the chance to roam free. Take advantage of one of the few off leash dog parks around Austin.

Join a country club. River Place Country Club is a great family club. They have golf, tennis, dining, a fitness center, spa and pool. There is really something for everyone here.
