In 2025-26, Reilly enrolled 318 students, with 37.4% economically disadvantaged, 34.9% emergent bilingual and 10.7% receiving special education or Section 504 services, according to TEA enrollment data. Enrollment will rise for 2026-27: Austin ISD counts about 158 zoned Ridgetop students reassigned to Reilly, and the new Montessori strand gives priority transfer to former Winn students and accepts transfers from across the district. GreatSchools and TEA measure different things. GreatSchools weighs test results against schools with similar student populations, while TEA’s rating, below, is the state’s official accountability measure.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, released in August 2026, Reilly Elementary earned an overall B with a score of 86. That is up 4 points from a B (82) in 2024-25. Reilly was a C campus in 2021-22 (77) and 2022-23 (75) and moved up to a B (87) in 2023-24.
- Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): B (86)
- Student Achievement: A, 90 out of 100 (based on STAAR performance)
- School Progress: B, 88 out of 100 (Academic Growth B/88, Relative Performance B/82)
- Closing the Gaps: C, 77 out of 100
- Prior Overall Ratings: C (77) in 2021-22, C (75) in 2022-23, B (87) in 2023-24, B (82) in 2024-25
- Austin ISD (2025-26): B (81) district-wide
Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. Student Achievement, the share of students meeting STAAR standards, rose from a B (85) to an A (90) in 2025-26, the campus’s best result in the years shown. School Progress improved from 81 to a B (88), with Academic Growth at 88 and Relative Performance, which compares results with schools serving similar shares of economically disadvantaged students, at 82. Closing the Gaps, which measures results for student groups, was a C (77), about the same as 2024-25, and it is what kept the overall score below an A. Reilly earned no distinction designations in the years shown and is not identified for state improvement support. These ratings describe the pre-2026 Reilly; future ratings will include the former Ridgetop students and the Montessori strand.
