Built in the 1970s, Round Rock West is one of Round Rock’s more established neighborhoods. Lot sizes are larger than average and ranging from 1/4-3/4 acres. Homes range in size from 1,578-3,800 sq ft, with the majority being 2,500 sq ft of smaller, making the lots look even bigger. Though homes do have some similarities in their exteriors, most of them with brick or stone, they are not cookie cutter like you see in newer neighborhoods. Garages are on the smaller side, so if you have a full size pick up truck, you probably won’t be parking in the garage. Residents love the wide streets and the mature landscaping with some heritage trees. There are no sidewalks, but traffic on the interior streets is low so you can still go for neighborhood walks. Another big draw is that there is no HOA, so residents have more flexibility to be able to do what they want with their homes. And, conveniently located right off McNeil Road in southern Round Rock, Round Rock West is an easy place to commute from.
