West Austin was one of the first areas that was considered luxury and is one of the most affluent zip codes in Austin. Located just over Lady Bird Lake, in the best school district in Austin, West Austin is the preferred area for someone looking for a suburban feel only minutes from Downtown Austin. Luxury homes are also far from cookie cutter. While other areas of Austin are trending more towards master-planned communities with similar homes, the majority of the West Austin remains unique.
