Caballo Ranch is one of Leander’s newer communities, with the first of 173 homes that complete the neighborhood built from 2008-2018. Built between two creeks, many of the home sites have either creek views or Texas Hill Country views. Scott Felder and Buffington Homes are the two original builders responsible for building in Caballo Ranch. Jimmy Jacobs Homes later joined the community. Caballo Ranch homes range in size from 2,005-4,185 square feet, with an average at 2,856 square feet. Lots range from 0.07-0.473 acres, with an average size of 0.210 acres. Inside you can expect large kitchens with high end appliances and large center islands, two story entry and living rooms, ceiling beams and wood look tile. Outside homes are made of brick or stone and have composition shingle roofs. Some designs include turrets, giving the neighborhood a unique look. You’ll also see many large, covered spaces that truly incorporate indoor/outdoor living. Membership in the HOA is mandatory and community amenities include a pool, bathhouse, splash pad, park, playground, covered pavilion and amenity center with activities for residents of all ages.
