Bee Cave is a small suburb (only 2.6 square miles) of Austin in the Texas Hill Country. Located at the intersection of Highway 71 and RM 620, Bee Cave had a population of 656 at the time of the 2000 US Census. Since then, two new large neighborhoods have been built, Falconhead and Falconhead West which have dramatically increased the population.
