Aqua Verde is a Lake Austin waterfront community just west of 360 and south of 2222. Located in the prestigious Eanes ISD, Aqua Verde is one of the more sought after neighborhoods. Aqua Verde Neighborhood Guide
Aqua Verde is located just west of Highway 360 and east of Lake Austin. You’ll find most of the homes on Aqua Verde Drive and few of them on Rivercrest Drive. You can access the neighborhood from Cedar Drive off 360. Conveniently located just off 360, this Lake Austin waterfront neighborhood provides easy access to Downtown Austin and North Austin’s tech corridor by 360 and 2222. Aqua Verde Homes
Most of the homes in West Austin’s Aqua Verde neighborhood were built in the 1980s to early 1990s, though you will see some brand new construction and a few lots still available. The older homes have 3-4 bedrooms with 1,500 – 2,500 sq ft of living space while the newer homes that have been built in the last several years can be upwards of 5,000 sq ft with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Newer homes boast the finest amenities in luxury living. With spectacular outdoor living spaces, pools with waterfalls, private boat docks with lifts, gourmet kitchens, media and game rooms and all of the architectural details you would expect, Aqua Verde combines resort-style amenities in a wooded, country atmosphere.
Both waterfront lots and lake view lots, Aqua Verde residents will always have access to Lake Austin through the owner’s association private boat dock if they don’t have their own dock. Lots are very private with tall trees and mature foliage and creates a feeling of seclusion in the city.

Because homes were built over such a long period of time (1970 – present), its hard to give an average Aqua Verde home. It all depends on when it was built and if it has been updated.

The property tax rate in West Austin’s Aqua Verde neighborhood is 1.3669% as of the 2023 tax year, down from 1.4941% as of the 2022 tax year. The property tax rate was 1.6107% as of the 2021 tax year.

Golf Near Aqua Verde
Austin Country Club is located on the opposite site of 360 and is one of Austin’s oldest clubs. The club’s 18 hole golf course was designed by Pete Dye.
Things to Do Near Aqua Verde
With much more than just golf, Austin Country Club has 10 lighted tennis courts, heated swimming pool, fitness facility, 57 boat slips and a large clubhouse with dining, ballroom and meeting facilities.
If it’s Christmas time, check out the Christmas lights. Aqua Verde is known as one of the best neighborhoods in Austin to see Christmas lights as many of the owners go all out. Put the kids in the car and just drive through one evening.
Places to Eat Near Aqua Verde
Maude’s Milagro is a popular place to enjoy dinner. They’re known for their queso, fish tacos and salsa which is very good. They do get busy, especially weekend dinners, so go early if you don’t like waiting.
MyPlace Sports Bar and Italian Grill. MyPlace is an upscale sports bar for those who want to go and watch a game but don’t want to sacrifice the quality of food. They have your traditional pub favorites, but also some classic Italian dishes that are very good. Go there to watch your favorite sporting event.
Sienna is an upscale Italian restaurant. Though the restaurant is big, they’ve done a great job breaking it up to create a more cozy atmosphere. Try their carpaccio which they serve with grilled shitakes and capers. Or try any of their pastas. Thanks for reading our Aqua Verde neighborhood guide.
