One of the largest and first master planned communities in Southwest Austin, Cherry Creek is ideal for someone looking for a cohesive neighborhood but who doesn’t want to deal with an overbearing HOA. Most of Cherry Creek does not require membership in an HOA with the exception of homes in Sections 14, 16 and 17, built on south side of the neighborhood along West Gate Blvd who are required to maintain a membership in the Tanglewood Oaks HOA. Cherry Creek is located in Southwest Austin west of Brodie and east of Manchaca with a small part of Cherry Creek on the east side of Manchaca Rd. near Garrison Park. The subdivision stretches from Slaughter to the south to Stassney to the north. The main north-south thoroughfare through Cherry Creek is Westgate Blvd. A new section of Westgate Blvd. that connects the southernmost section of Cherry Creek to those above was completed in 2012.
