Cimarron Neighborhood Guide

Built in the 1970s and 1980s, Cimarron is one of Round Rock’s earlier neighborhoods. As Round Rock was a “far out” suburb back then, homes sit on larger lots with most of them at around 1/4-1/3 of an acre. Homes are on the smaller side around 1,500-2,000 sq ft (some as big as 2,500 sq ft), so lots really do appear spacious. Home exteriors are usually a combination of either brick or stone and siding, giving residents options if they want to add a little color. There is no HOA, so no amenities like a community pool, but you also don’t have an extra set of rules you must follow. The neighborhood is pretty well kept despite the extra motivation of an HOA to keep it that way, which really shows pride of ownership. If you’re looking for an easily accessible location in southern Round Rock and don’t need a huge house, Cimarron is an ideal place to start your search.
