Greenwood is a master planned community in south Pflugerville that broke ground in 2021. When complete, the community will have 141 cottages and 33 homesites, for a total of 174 residences. Located off Immanuel Road between Wells Branch Pky and Howard Lane, Greenwood is convenient for someone needing to get to the north tech corridor or downtown Austin for work. The tax rate is low, at just over 2%, making it the most affordable Pflugerville neighborhood with new construction. Lennar Homes will build out the neighborhood and with the low tax rate and community pool, park and hiking trails, I don’t doubt build out will happen quickly. If you’re looking for new construction but don’t want to give more money than you absolutely have to for property taxes, Greenwood is a great place to start your search.
