Built by Armadillo Homes and Gehan Homes from the mid 2000s to mid 2010s, Emory Farms is one of Hutto’s more established communities. Homes sit on larger than average lots for what you would expect to find in a recently built community with most ranging from 0.17-0.34 acres. Homes are also larger than average, ranging in size from 1,765-3,752 sqft, making Emory Farms an ideal choice if you need a little more space than what these new communities are offering. Homes have brick and stone fronts and HardiPlank on the sides if the home is two story. Trees are getting more mature, so you’re starting to see more green than you did a decade ago. Residents enjoy access to a large community park with playscape, covered pavilion with picnic tables and plenty of space to run around. Emory Farms is located next to an electrical substation, which has polarizing effects on home buyers. Some are not bothered and others refuse to live there.
