Buttercup Creek Neighborhood Guide

Buttercup Creek is a large Cedar Park neighborhood known for its proximity to nature, numerous hike and bike trails and parks. The neighborhood is built around several preserves, which are all connected through an extensive trail system. Construction began in the early 1980s and was completed in the mid 2010s, providing a wide range of architectural styles and layouts. Homes range in size from 910-4,900 sqft. Not too many neighborhoods have a 4,000 sqft range of home sizes, which really means there is something for someone in every stage of life. Lots range from 0.12-0.6 acres, with an average size of 1/5 of an acre. Outside you’ll see composition shingle roofs and the majority are brick with some stone. This does tend to vary from decade to decade. Certain sections of Buttercup Creek do have an HOA, while others do not, giving options for someone who is looking for either. Residents have access to two community swimming pools, playground, volleyball and tennis courts, so if you’re looking for ways to keep the kids occupied, or keep yourself in shape, you don’t have to go far. Buttercup Creek is also conveniently located minutes from 183, making it an easy commute to many of Austin’s top tech employers with offices in Northwest Austin.
