Built in the late 1990s and early 2000s by KB Homes, Lennar Homes, Centex Homes and Brighton Homes, Chandler Creek is one of Round Rock’s more affordable communities. Homes sit on small lots, making it ideal for someone looking for minimal yard work. But, since houses are either two story or small one stories, you do feel like there is more space between houses than there are in some new neighborhoods. Plus, the mature landscaping makes your eye focus on the trees rather than the houses, giving the neighborhood some character. One unique feature of Chandler Creek is that there are some large houses upwards of nearly 4,000sqft, which is not something you typically see in homes built during this time period. The HOA is very reasonable at less than $300/year as of July 2022 and does maintain a park, playground and some hike/bike trails as well as the common grounds. If you’re looking for an established neighborhood in an easy to get to, Round Rock location, Chandler Creek is a great place to start your search.
