All this talk of secluded private lots may have you thinking you’re way far away from civilization, however, its actually quite the contrary. HEB Grocery Store is just five minutes away in the Village of West Lake shopping center. You’ll also find several restaurants and a Starbucks there too. A bit further south on 360 and you’ll come to Barton Creek Square Mall, an upscale shopping mall with all the major retailers.
Golf Near Cortona
If you’re a serious golfer, you’ll probably head to Austin Country Club just a few minutes north. A members only club, you’ll need to get sponsored before you can become a member. However, most love the course and the social benefits. If the country club atmosphere doesn’t appeal to you, or you’re just an occasional golfer, head to Lions Municipal public course just across the lake in Central Austin.

For Asian fusion/sushi, head to Bistro 88 in Rollingwood. They have a an extensive menu of sushi, rolls and Asian fusion entrees like ahi tuna, duck, lamb, quail, Chilean sea bass and Rib Eye steak.
