Forget in Austin…Best Haunted House.

Looking for a little more trick than treat this Halloween? Well if you think you’ve got the heart, or more importantly the stomach, spend a fall evening this October at Austin’s best haunted house the House of Torment.

Not Your Typical Haunted House

The House of Torment is not your typical, throw it together in September type of haunted house. It’s a haunted house on a heavy dose of mutated steroids. The House of Torment has won countless awards and has received world wide recognition. The annual event has been ranked as one of the top 10 haunted houses in the United States for multiple years running. It has also been showcased on ABC’s Good Morning America and deemed the second spookiest haunted houses in the Nation. Employing a full time staff of creators, actors and stage hands, the House of Torment begins bringing their next demented creations to life for the next Halloween as soon as the crypt door closes. Yes, that’s right. A full time staff all year round.

What’s It Like?

More Than Just a Haunted House

You actually get three attractions for the price of one. The Possession brings you face-to-face with the shadows at Graveside Manor. The Deranged is a former penitentiary, still full of inhumane creatures. And The Frenzy is a dark carnival full of beasts & clowns that are the stuff of nightmares. All three haunted attractions are a unique Halloween adventure you won’t experience anywhere else in Austin.

When is the Haunted House Open?

The House of Torment is open every day October 10th through October 31st starting 7 p.m. (Closing times vary by day.) The House of Torment is also open the first two weekends in November. See their calendar for more detailed information.

Where is the House of Torment?

The House of Torment is located at the intersection of 183 and 290 at 2632 Ridgepoint Dr, Austin, TX 78754.

How Much Does this Austin Haunted House Cost?

General Admission varies by day and starts at $19.99 + tax and increasing to $32.99 + tax for peak days.

PG-13

One caution: this is truly a scary experience and not recommended for young children.
