What was once a small motel, the Don Mar Motor Court will soon be transformed to lofts, townhomes and retail. The 0.77 acre site at 2109 South Congress was purchased by Soma Properties, a San Francisco based company. The Don Mar Motor Court will be their first Austin project. When complete, the site will have 64 lofts and townhomes as well as 6,000 sq ft of retail. Its not clear what floor plans or pricing will be, but we know the location is ideal if you’re looking to be within walking distance of virtually every amenity South Congress has to offer.
