Carmel, a Pflugerville neighborhood that has been in the making for the better part of a decade, is finally coming to life. This 800 acre parcel will have 2,317 homes at build out and residents will enjoy a community pool. The plan is to add a commercial complex, to be called Cactus Commercial, once 400-500 homes are complete. Pflugerville, having recently purchased the land adjacent for an athletic complex and park, will extend the city’s park to the planned green space at Carmel. It is expected Carmel will take 10-12 years to build out. Currently (February 2022) builders include Brohn Homes, Pulte Homes, Meritage Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, Castle Rock Communities, Gehan Homes, Caledonia Builders, William Lyon Homes, Taylor Morrison and Gray Point Homes. Each builder offers unique floorplans and finish outs. Homes start in the $400k’s and top off in the high $700k’s.
