Later phases, including lab, cafeteria, and library renovations, are planned for a future bond.
GreatSchools and the Texas Education Agency measure different things, so it is worth reading both. GreatSchools weighs test performance against schools serving similar student populations. The Texas Education Agency’s rating, below, is the state’s own official measurement and the one used for school accountability purposes. For a high school, TEA’s rating also factors in graduation rates and college, career, and military readiness, not just test scores.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, released in September 2026, Connally High School earned an overall B with a score of 80. That is its best rating in years and a steady climb: Connally was rated D in both 2022-23 (62) and 2023-24 (61), then C (72) in 2024-25, and now B (80). Pflugerville ISD listed Connally among the 11 campuses that moved up a full letter grade this year. School Progress, which measures growth and how the school performs relative to campuses with similar students, was its strongest domain at a B. Connally also earned a TEA distinction for Academic Achievement in Science.
- Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): B (80)
- Student Achievement: C (74), based on STAAR end-of-course exams, graduation rates, and college/career readiness
- School Progress: B (82)
- Closing the Gaps: C (74)
- Distinction: Academic Achievement in Science
- Recent Overall Ratings: C (72) in 2024-25, D (61) in 2023-24, D (62) in 2022-23
A few numbers behind the rating are worth knowing. 90% of Connally’s graduates met TEA’s college, career, or military readiness standard, close to the district’s 91%, and Connally’s P-TECH program shows up in the data: 2.9% of graduates earned an associate degree, nearly three times the district rate. The four-year graduation rate is 85.1%, below Pflugerville ISD’s 92.8%. On STAAR end-of-course exams, 38% of students met grade level, compared with 51% district-wide, though Connally matched or beat the district in social studies. Connally also serves a population with more needs than most Austin-area high schools: about 82% of students are economically disadvantaged and about half are emergent bilingual students.
For context, under TEA’s scale, an A rating reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized performance, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable.

Connally High School Attendance Zone Map
The map above shows where the Connally campus sits, on North Lamar just south of Parmer Lane. To confirm whether a specific home address is zoned to Connally, use Pflugerville ISD’s official boundary tool: Pflugerville ISD Find My School Map.
Connally’s attendance zone covers the western and southern part of Pflugerville ISD. It runs from Wells Branch and Scofield Farms near MoPac and I-35, east through Gracywoods, Quail Hollow, River Oak Lake Estates, Lamplight Village, and Copperfield, and up to the Northtown Park, Gaston-Sheldon, Brookfield Estates, Fort Dessau, and Harris Ridge area on the west side of Pflugerville. Wells Branch and Scofield Farms are split between school districts, so only their Pflugerville ISD sections are zoned to Connally. Neighborhoods east of Dessau Road, such as Cantarra, Greenwood, and Edgebrooke, are zoned to Weiss High School.
Pflugerville ISD voted in May 2026 to close Dessau, Parmer Lane, Pflugerville, and Windermere Elementary after the 2026-27 school year. Parmer Lane Elementary feeds Connally entirely, and part of Dessau Elementary does too. In both draft maps the rezoning task force released in September 2026, Parmer Lane and Dessau students would move to elementary schools that already feed Connally. The rezoning is focused on elementary boundaries, and the Board is expected to adopt the new map by the end of 2026 for the 2027-28 school year. Confirm the full school assignment for any specific address with Pflugerville ISD before writing an offer.
