Manor High is Manor ISD’s comprehensive high school, and all of its grades, including the 9th Grade Center and the Early College Program, report to TEA as one campus. In August 2018 the district opened Manor Senior High, a 215,000 sq ft, $48 million building on FM 973 paid for by the 2014 bond, for juniors and seniors, while the original campus on Gregg Manor Road, about four miles away, kept the younger grades. Manor Early College High School, an 85,000 sq ft building that cost about $35.5 million from the 2019 bond, opened in August 2023. In 2025 the district placed Manor Senior High and the Early College under one principal, Kandice Smith, and now calls the early college the Manor High School Early College Program. In 2025-26, Manor High enrolled 2,210 students, with 74.8% economically disadvantaged according to TEA; state data compiled by the Texas Tribune show 45.3% English learners, 12.7% receiving special education services, 8.6% identified as gifted and talented, and 64% Hispanic students. GreatSchools and TEA measure different things. GreatSchools weighs test results against schools with similar student populations, while TEA’s rating, below, is the state’s official accountability measure.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, published in September 2026, Manor High earned an overall C with a score of 73. That is up 14 points from an F (59) in 2024-25 and matches its 2021-22 score of 73. In between, the campus was rated D (65) in 2022-23 and D (64) in 2023-24. Manor ISD as a whole earned a D (66) in 2025-26, up from a D (60).
- Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): C (73)
- Student Achievement: C, 73 out of 100 (based on STAAR performance)
- School Progress: C, 77 out of 100 (Academic Growth F/55, Relative Performance C/77)
- Closing the Gaps: D, 65 out of 100
- College, Career and Military Readiness: 93 out of 100; Graduation Rate: 92.1%
- Prior Overall Ratings: C (73) in 2021-22, D (65) in 2022-23, D (64) in 2023-24, F (59) in 2024-25
- Manor ISD (2025-26): D (66) district-wide, up from D (60) in 2024-25
Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. The biggest change in 2025-26 was College, Career and Military Readiness, which measures how many graduates show readiness through measures such as college credit, industry certifications or test scores. It rose from 59 to 93. Student Achievement improved from a D (60) to a C (73), and Closing the Gaps, which measures results for student groups, rose from an F (50) to a D (65). The graduation rate component was 92.1% for the class of 2025, up from 89.1%.
Academic Growth remained the weakest area at an F (55), about the same as the year before (56). School Progress was a C (77) because TEA uses the better of Academic Growth and Relative Performance, which compares results with schools serving similar shares of economically disadvantaged students. In 2024-25 TEA identified Manor High for additional targeted support, a federal designation based on the results of specific student groups, and that label was removed for 2025-26. The campus has not earned TEA distinction designations from 2022 through 2026.

The 2022-23 and 2023-24 ratings were delayed by litigation and released in 2025, and in 2022 campuses scoring below 70 were labeled Not Rated under SB 1365. TEA issues updated ratings annually, so verify the current rating directly with Manor ISD or TEA before making a decision based on it.

Manor High School Attendance Zone
Manor High’s attendance zone is all of Manor ISD, which covers about 100 square miles including the city of Manor, northeast Austin in the 78754 and 78724 zip codes, and a small part of Pflugerville. Every zoned middle school feeds Manor High: Decker Middle (from Bluebonnet Trail, Decker, Oak Meadows and Pioneer Crossing elementaries) and Manor Middle (from Blake Manor, Lagos, Presidential Meadows and ShadowGlen elementaries). The only students who attend a different Manor ISD high school are those admitted by lottery to Manor New Tech High.
No high school boundary change has been adopted, and as of October 2026 Manor ISD has not adopted any rezoning for 2025-26, 2026-27 or 2027-28. Bond 2026, on the November 3, 2026 ballot, would spend $67.25 million on a new academic wing at the MHS Complex so grades 9-12 share one campus for up to 2,300 students, $16.5 million on a theatre and fine arts addition, and $8.7 million to convert the 9th Grade Center for Manor Excel Academy. A $385 million bond failed in November 2025, so these projects are pending until voters decide. Manor ISD publishes its zones only as PDF maps on its attendance zones page and has no online address lookup, so confirm that a specific address is inside Manor ISD with the district at (512) 278-4000 before buying.
