Santa Rita Elementary School is in the Liberty Hill ISD and earned a 8/10 rating from Great School’s as of October 2026. The campus is at 532 Santa Rita Blvd. in Liberty Hill (78642), inside the Santa Rita Ranch community, and it serves kindergarten through 5th grade. It opened in August 2020 as the first on-site school in Santa Rita Ranch. For 2026-27 the district added the Eldorado section of Santa Rita Ranch to its zone, and Santa Rita also takes new students from the Tierra Rosa Elementary zone when Tierra Rosa is full. Liberty Hill ISD is expanding the building from 800 to 1,000 seats by August 2027. This page covers those changes, the school’s official ratings and programs, its 2026-27 attendance zone, and four years of closed-sales data for homes in the zone from Unlock MLS.

Santa Rita Elementary: Expansion and Tierra Rosa Overflow
Santa Rita Elementary was built for 800 students, and it had about 698 in fall 2025. In November 2025, the Liberty Hill ISD board approved an expansion to 1,000 seats, with Joeris General Contractors as construction manager, an estimated budget of about $7 million, and completion planned by August 2027. The schematic design, approved February 16, 2026, adds a stacked five-classroom wing plus flexible common and library space, designed by Pfluger Architects.
Santa Rita is also the overflow campus for Tierra Rosa Elementary, the other Liberty Hill ISD school inside Santa Rita Ranch. Tierra Rosa has been over capacity since the start of the 2025-26 school year, and new students in its zone were sent to Santa Rita that year. For 2026-27, the district said it will again transfer new Tierra Rosa enrollees to Santa Rita once Tierra Rosa is full. Students who were transferred to Santa Rita in 2025-26 could choose to stay at Santa Rita or attend Tierra Rosa.
The 2026-27 rezoning added Eldorado to the Santa Rita zone. Eldorado was kept here rather than assigned to Saddleback Elementary because there is no direct road connection between Eldorado and the Saddleback area. Liberty Hill ISD plans another boundary review in spring 2027, ahead of Saddleback Elementary opening in August 2027, so the Santa Rita zone could change for 2027-28.

Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, released in August 2026, Santa Rita Elementary earned an overall B with a score of 87, down from 89 in 2024-25. It has earned a B every year it has been rated. The district as a whole earned a B (85).

- Prior Overall Ratings: B (85) in 2022-23, B (86) in 2023-24, B (89) in 2024-25
Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. Santa Rita’s strongest area is Student Achievement, the share of students meeting STAAR standards, which earned an A. The dip this year came mainly from Closing the Gaps, which measures how well different student groups perform, falling from a B (87) to a C (79).

Homes Zoned to Santa Rita Elementary: Market Stats
Here is what actually happened in Santa Rita Elementary’s attendance zone over the past four years. The figures cover single-family homes in Liberty Hill ISD sold through Unlock MLS whose addresses fall inside the official 2026-27 Santa Rita Elementary attendance zone. We geocoded every Liberty Hill ISD sale and tested its address against the district’s own 2026-27 boundary map instead of relying on the school name typed into each listing. That matters here because LHISD redrew its attendance zones for 2026-27, so many older listings carry school names that no longer apply. Almost all of these sales were in the Santa Rita Ranch South, Santa Rita Ranch West, and Eldorado sections of Santa Rita Ranch.

Each sale was geocoded and matched to Liberty Hill ISD’s official 2026-27 attendance-zone boundaries, so the figures reflect today’s zone rather than the school name typed into each listing; 49 Liberty Hill ISD listings that fell outside every district zone, and a small number that could not be located precisely, were left out.
