Saddleback Elementary School is Liberty Hill ISD’s ninth elementary school, now under construction in the Saddleback section of Santa Rita Ranch and scheduled to open in August 2027. It isn’t open yet, so for the 2026-27 school year, kindergarten through 5th grade students zoned to Saddleback attend Louine Noble Elementary at 101 Loop 332 in Liberty Hill, then move to the new building for 2027-28. If you’re buying in this zone, that means two schools in two years. This page covers the construction and opening timeline, the interim school’s ratings, the 2026-27 zone, the neighborhoods in it, and four years of closed-sales data for homes in the zone from Unlock MLS.

Saddleback Elementary Opens in August 2027
The Liberty Hill ISD board named Saddleback Elementary, the district’s Elementary No. 9, by unanimous vote in September 2025. The district held a groundbreaking ceremony in May 2026. Substantial completion is expected in summer 2027, and the school is scheduled to open for the 2027-28 school year in August 2027. It will be the third Liberty Hill ISD elementary inside Santa Rita Ranch, after Santa Rita and Tierra Rosa.
The campus is on a 13.5-acre site at Tower Rd. and the future Saddleback Pkwy., near CR 258. PBK Architects designed a two-story, 113,383-square-foot building modeled on Tierra Rosa Elementary but scaled up for 1,000 students. Plans include a gym, cafeteria, library and media center, interior and exterior courtyards, outdoor learning areas, a 260-vehicle carpool loop, a separate bus loop, and a separate special education drop-off.
For 2026-27, Saddleback students start as a group at Louine Noble Elementary, which also houses all of the district’s Pre-K this year. When Saddleback opens, Noble becomes a Pre-K-only early learning center, and homes zoned to Noble for K–5 this year become Saddleback-zoned.
Louine Noble Elementary Great Schools Rating: 7/10
Saddleback’s exact 2027-28 boundary isn’t final. Liberty Hill ISD plans a boundary review in spring 2027. A January 2026 proposal described Saddleback as eventually serving Santa Rita Ranch, Grand Oaks, and Rancho Santa Fe along with communities off CR 258 and CR 3405. In the plan adopted for 2026-27, Eldorado stayed at Santa Rita Elementary because it has no direct road connection to Saddleback, and Wildleaf and Grand Oaks stayed at Bill Burden Elementary, to be re-evaluated when Saddleback opens. The district hasn’t announced a principal, mascot, or street address yet. We’ll update this page as those details are released.

Until Saddleback opens, the school that matters for 2026-27 is Louine Noble Elementary. Noble’s principal is Erin Boyd, its mascot is the Panthers, and K–5 students there follow the district’s elementary schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saddleback has no GreatSchools or TEA rating because it hasn’t enrolled students in its own building yet.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
Saddleback Elementary has no Texas Education Agency accountability rating yet. TEA rates a campus after it has a year of its own students and test results, so the first Saddleback rating would be expected with the 2027-28 ratings, which TEA typically releases in August of the following year.
For 2026-27, Saddleback-zoned students attend Louine Noble Elementary, so Noble’s rating is the most relevant one for now. In TEA’s 2025-26 ratings, released in August 2026, Noble earned a B with a score of 88, up 8 points from 2024-25, the largest gain of any Liberty Hill ISD campus. Keep in mind that this rating was earned by Noble’s previous student body. Before the 2026-27 rezoning, Noble served the Liberty Hill core, not the Saddleback area.
- Louine Noble Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): B (88)
- Student Achievement: B, 89 out of 100 (based on STAAR performance)
- School Progress: B, 87 out of 100 (Academic Growth B/87, Relative Performance C/74)
- Closing the Gaps: B, 84 out of 100
- Distinction: Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth
- Prior Noble Overall Ratings: C (79) in 2021-22, B (86) in 2022-23, B (85) in 2023-24, B (80) in 2024-25
Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. Liberty Hill ISD as a whole earned a B (85) in 2025-26. The other two elementary schools in Santa Rita Ranch, Santa Rita Elementary and Tierra Rosa Elementary, both earned a B.

Saddleback Elementary has no TEA campus rating yet. TEA issues updated ratings annually, so verify the current rating directly with Liberty Hill ISD or TEA before making a decision based on it.
Programs at Saddleback Elementary
Saddleback hasn’t published its own programs yet. These Liberty Hill ISD programs apply at every district elementary, including Louine Noble this year.
- Gifted and Talented: Liberty Hill ISD’s GT program serves identified students through pull-out GT classes. Students can be referred by parents or teachers during the district’s referral window each winter, and the district screens kindergartners.
- English as a Second Language: Like every LHISD elementary, Saddleback students use a content-based ESL model. Students stay in their regular classrooms with ESL-certified teachers, and an ESL interventionist provides pull-out support. The district’s dual language program is housed only at Liberty Hill Elementary.
- Fine Arts: Visual art and music classes for every grade, K–5, as part of the district’s elementary fine arts program
- Before and After School: Liberty Hill Extended Care, the district’s before- and after-school program, is linked from the campus website.
- Pre-K: All Liberty Hill ISD Pre-K is at the Louine Noble Early Learning Center starting in 2026-27, and Noble becomes a Pre-K-only center when Saddleback opens. Saddleback will serve kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Parent Involvement: The Noble PTO is active at Louine Noble in 2026-27
For 2026-27 questions about gifted and talented services, ESL, or special education, contact Louine Noble Elementary at (512) 379-3200.

Saddleback Elementary Attendance Zone Map
The map above shows the area of the Saddleback Elementary construction site. For 2026-27, the zone that will become Saddleback’s is the Louine Noble Elementary K–5 zone, which the district’s map labels Louine Noble Elementary (Saddleback 2027-28). It covers the northeast part of Liberty Hill ISD east of US 183, including the Saddleback section and several northwest sections of Santa Rita Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Tesoro, Ancient Oaks, North San Gabriel River Ranch, Carrington Ranch, Northfork, the Liberty Hill ISD part of Beltorre, and homes along CR 258 and FM 3405, out toward Seward Junction. To confirm whether a specific address is in this zone, use the district’s official address lookup: Liberty Hill ISD school locator.
Most of Santa Rita Ranch is zoned elsewhere for 2026-27. Sections west of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Eldorado go to Santa Rita Elementary, and sections east of Ronald Reagan Blvd. go to Tierra Rosa Elementary. Wildleaf and Grand Oaks, also east of US 183, stay at Bill Burden Elementary for now. Only part of Beltorre, and parts of some Santa Rita Ranch sections, are inside Liberty Hill ISD, so confirm the district for any specific lot. Because the district reviews boundaries again in spring 2027, Saddleback’s opening-year zone could differ from this map.
Homes Zoned to Saddleback Elementary: Market Stats
Here is what actually happened in the future Saddleback Elementary zone over the past four years. The figures cover single-family homes in Liberty Hill ISD sold through Unlock MLS whose addresses fall inside the official 2026-27 Louine Noble Elementary K–5 zone, which the district labels Louine Noble Elementary (Saddleback 2027-28). We geocoded every Liberty Hill ISD sale and tested its address against the district’s own 2026-27 boundary map instead of relying on the school name typed into each listing. That matters here because LHISD redrew its attendance zones for 2026-27, so many older listings carry school names that no longer apply. No listing could have been tagged Saddleback yet. Most of these sales were in the Saddleback and northwest sections of Santa Rita Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Tesoro, and Northfork.
3-Year Closed Sales Trend
| Period | Homes Sold | Median Sale Price | Median $/Sq Ft | Sale-to-List Ratio | Median Days on Market |
| Sept 2022 – Aug 2023 | 45 | $853,990 | $274.74 | 96.0% | 107 days |
| Sept 2023 – Aug 2024 | 93 | $621,500 | $233.10 | 97.4% | 78 days |
| Sept 2024 – Aug 2025 | 87 | $558,000 | $208.25 | 98.0% | 86 days |
| Trailing 12 Months (Sept 2025 – Aug 2026) | 79 | $500,000 | $181.15 | 96.6% | 78 days |
Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Single-family homes only. Each sale was geocoded and matched to Liberty Hill ISD’s official 2026-27 attendance-zone boundaries, so the figures reflect today’s zone rather than the school name typed into each listing; 49 Liberty Hill ISD listings that fell outside every district zone, and a small number that could not be located precisely, were left out.
The median sale price for homes in the future Saddleback zone has fallen, from $853,990 in 2022-23 to $500,000 over the trailing twelve months, a change of about 41.5%. Median price per square foot moved from $274.74 to $181.15 (-34.1%), so the per-foot picture is softer than three years ago.
Sales volume went from 45 homes in 2022-23 to 79 in the past twelve months. Median days on market fell from 107 to 78 days, and sellers received a median of 96.6% of their final list price over the past year.
Keep the mix of homes in mind when reading these numbers. In 2022-23, most homes that sold in this zone were acreage properties, with a median lot of about one acre. Since then, smaller-lot new construction in Santa Rita Ranch and Saddleback has made up most sales, with a median lot of under a quarter acre. Much of the drop in the median sale price reflects that shift rather than a like-for-like decline in values.

Neighborhoods Zoned to Saddleback Elementary
The neighborhoods below have their own guides and are zoned to Louine Noble Elementary for 2026-27, the zone that becomes Saddleback Elementary’s in 2027-28. Santa Rita Ranch is split: only its Saddleback section and several northwest sections are in this zone, while most of the community is zoned to Santa Rita Elementary or Tierra Rosa Elementary. Only part of Beltorre is in Liberty Hill ISD. Smaller areas such as Sunny Slope, Rio Ranch, Wild Country Ranch, and part of Big Valley are also in the zone but don’t have their own guides.
Feeder Middle and High Schools
The 2026-27 Louine Noble K–5 zone, the future Saddleback zone, sits entirely east of US 183 in the part of the district assigned to Legacy Ranch Middle School, so students continue to Legacy Ranch Middle School and then Legacy Ranch High School. Legacy Ranch High School serves grades 9 through 11 in 2026-27. This year, all Liberty Hill ISD 12th graders attend Liberty Hill High School. Feeder patterns could shift with the spring 2027 boundary review.

No. Saddleback has no TEA or GreatSchools rating because it hasn’t opened. Its first TEA rating would be expected with the 2027-28 ratings. The interim school, Louine Noble Elementary, earned a B (88) from TEA for 2025-26, but that rating reflects Noble’s previous student body, not the Saddleback zone.
On a 13.5-acre site at Tower Rd. and the future Saddleback Pkwy., near CR 258, in the Saddleback section of Santa Rita Ranch. It will be a two-story, 113,383-square-foot school for up to 1,000 students, designed by PBK Architects and modeled on Tierra Rosa Elementary.
For now, homes in the 2026-27 Louine Noble K-5 zone become Saddleback-zoned when it opens. Yes. Liberty Hill ISD plans a boundary review in spring 2027. Programs, Feeder Schools and Home Prices
Saddleback will serve kindergarten through 5th grade. Liberty Hill ISD Pre-K is centralized at the Noble Early Learning Center, which becomes a Pre-K-only campus when Saddleback opens.
The 2026-27 zone feeds Legacy Ranch Middle School and then Legacy Ranch High School. Legacy Ranch High serves grades 9 through 11 in 2026-27, and all district seniors attend Liberty Hill High School this year.
Over the trailing 12 months (Sept 2025 to Aug 2026), 79 single-family homes sold in the 2026-27 Louine Noble K-5 zone, the future Saddleback zone, at a median price of $500,000, based on Unlock MLS data. That compares with a median of $853,990 in Sept 2022 to Aug 2023, a decline of 41.5%, though much of that reflects a shift from acreage homes to smaller-lot new construction.
As of the date shown in the Current Inventory Snapshot above, there were 26 active listings in the zone with a median list price of $686,345, based on Unlock MLS data.
