GreatSchools weighs test results against schools with similar student populations, while TEA’s rating, below, is the state’s official accountability measure.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, released in August 2026, Bill Burden Elementary earned an overall B with a score of 83. That is down 3 points from a B (86) in 2024-25. Bill Burden was an A campus in 2021-22 (94) and 2022-23 (90), and its score has slipped each year since.
- Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): B (83)
- Student Achievement: B, 86 out of 100 (based on STAAR performance)
- School Progress: C, 76 out of 100 (Academic Growth C/76, Relative Performance D/65)
- Closing the Gaps: C, 76 out of 100

Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. Bill Burden’s strongest area is Student Achievement, the share of students meeting STAAR standards. School Progress, which measures year-over-year growth, and Closing the Gaps, which looks at how each student group performs, both dropped to C in 2025-26. The campus did not earn distinction designations this year and is not identified for state improvement support. In earlier years it earned Top 25% distinctions in Closing the Gaps (2021-22 and 2023-24) and Academic Growth (2022-23).

Homes Zoned to Bill Burden Elementary: Market Stats
The figures below cover single-family homes in Liberty Hill ISD sold through Unlock MLS whose addresses fall inside Bill Burden Elementary’s official 2026-27 attendance zone. Rather than relying on the school name typed into each listing, we geocoded every LHISD sale and tested it against the district’s own boundary map. That matters here because LHISD redrew its elementary boundaries for 2026-27, so older listings often carry the old school names. The zone’s largest neighborhoods are Stonewall Ranch, Liberty Parke and Cascade, along with North Haven and Wildleaf.
