Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
Glenn High received a B (82) in the Texas Education Agency’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, down from a B (86) in 2024-25. Student Achievement, which for high schools is based on STAAR end-of-course results, college, career and military readiness, and graduation rates, edged up from a B (83) to a B (84). School Progress, which measures student growth, rose from a C (73) to a C (76). The drop in the overall score came from Closing the Gaps, which tracks how each student group performs against state targets, falling from an A (92) to a C (77). Glenn was not identified for a federal support and improvement designation in 2025 or 2026, though TEA had identified it for Targeted Support and Improvement in its 2019 report. Over the longer run, Glenn has moved between B and C ratings, with a C (77) in 2018-19, a B (83) in 2021-22, a C (78) in 2022-23 and a B (80) in 2023-24. Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. The 2022-23 and 2023-24 ratings were delayed by litigation over TEA’s methodology and were not released until 2025.

Glenn High Attendance Zone Map
Glenn High’s attendance zone covers about 45 square miles of north and northwest Leander and the rural land beyond it. Most of its homes are in Bryson, Larkspur, Palmera Ridge, Deerbrooke, Summerlyn, Devine Lake, Hawkes Landing, Benbrook Ranch, Reserve at North Fork and North Creek, along with Orchard Ridge, which has a Liberty Hill address. Through the Hisle Elementary zone, it also runs far to the west through ranch and acreage properties along Round Mountain Road toward Sandy Creek. Nearby high school zones are Leander High to the south and Rouse High to the southeast. To confirm the school for a specific address, use Leander ISD’s School Zone Finder.
Glenn’s zone shrank in Leander ISD’s 2023 secondary rezoning, which took effect in 2024-25. Glenn had been projected to reach 124% of its capacity by 2025-26, and the plan moved 13 Glenn neighborhoods to Leander High. Based on Leander ISD’s boundary maps, those were most of the Camacho Elementary zone in central Leander and the southern part of the Bagdad Elementary zone, including Rosenbusch Ranch, Westwood and Carneros Ranch. Every home inside today’s Glenn zone was also zoned to Glenn before the change, so the zone finder’s older 11th-12th grade layer matches the current boundary here. Some older MLS listings in those former Glenn areas may still name Glenn, so check the zone for a specific address rather than relying on a listing’s school field.
Homes Zoned to Glenn High: Market Stats
The figures below cover single-family homes sold through Unlock MLS that sit inside Glenn High’s current 2026-27 attendance zone. We pulled every Leander ISD sale, matched each address to Leander ISD address points (or a geocoder for the few that did not match) and checked it against Leander ISD’s official Glenn High boundary, regardless of which school the listing named. Most of these sales are in Bryson, Larkspur, Palmera Ridge, Deerbrooke, Orchard Ridge and the Summerlyn sections, with smaller numbers in Devine Lake, Hawkes Landing, Benbrook Ranch and Reserve at North Fork.

Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Single-family homes only, including condo-regime homes. Each address was matched to Leander ISD address points and checked against Leander ISD’s official 2026-27 attendance-zone boundary. For high school zones we used the zone finder’s 9th-10th grade high school layer, which reflects the 2024-25 rezoning and now serves as the zone for all grades. Sale-to-list ratio is the median of each sale’s close price divided by its final list price. Days on market is cumulative days on market.
The median sale price in the Glenn High zone was $421,000 over the trailing twelve months, 3.1% below 2024-25’s $434,495 and 8.5% below the $460,000 median of 2022-23. Prices peaked in 2023-24, when the median reached $484,060 and price per square foot hit $212.31. Price per square foot has since fallen to $191.02, down 4.5% from 2024-25 and 9.6% from 2022-23, even though the median home sold this year was larger, about 2,500 square feet compared with about 2,290 in 2022-23. The zone’s median sale price is well below the Leander ISD median of $535,000.
Sales volume has dropped as new construction has slowed. 535 homes sold over the past twelve months, essentially flat with 534 in 2024-25 but down 39.3% from 882 in 2022-23, when 172 of the sales were newly built homes. 32 of this year’s sales were new construction, and the median home sold was built in 2020. Homes are taking longer to sell, with a median of 69 days on market, up from 41 days in 2022-23 and above the Leander ISD median of 54 days, but sellers still received a median of 98.0% of their final list price.
Current Inventory Snapshot
As of October 2, 2026
| Status | Count | Median List Price | Median Days on Market |
| Active | 215 | $465,000 | 94 days |
| Active Under Contract | 22 | $392,250 | 90 days |
| Pending | 21 | $484,000 | 45 days |
Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Same zone check as above. Days on market is cumulative days on market.
258 homes are currently active, under contract, or pending in the Glenn High zone. With 215 active listings against about 44.6 sales a month over the past year, the zone has roughly 4.8 months of inventory, which points to a balanced market.
The median active list price of $465,000 is above the trailing-twelve-month median sale price of $421,000, partly because 48 of the active listings are new construction and 27 are priced at $1 million or more. At the other end, 86 of the 215 active listings are priced under $400,000, and active listings range from $249,900 to $1,890,000. Active listings have been on the market a median of 94 days. Only 22 homes are under contract and 21 are pending, so the medians for those two groups say less about the typical home in the zone.
