Located west of 130, Star Ranch is one of Hutto’s original master planned communities and also the closest to Round Rock. Star Ranch Golf Club with a beautiful 18 hole course makes its way through the 1,000 acre master planned community and gives some of the homes some beautiful views they don’t have to pay for or maintain. Other amenities include a neighborhood pool, playscape and is in close proximity to Stone Hill Town Center, restaurants and entertainment. The first homes were built in 2003 and building continues today (2023), though the neighborhood is nearing completion. Homes range from 1,402-4,150 sqft and lots range in size from 0.09-0.45 acres. Over the years there have been several builders who built for periods of time. Those included Clark Wilson, KB Homes, Meritage Homes, Pacesetter Homes, Perry Homes, Streetman Homes and Wilshire Homes.
