The Texas Education Agency’s rating, below, is the state’s own official measurement and the one used for school accountability purposes.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
- Overall TEA Rating: C (70 out of 100)
- Student Achievement: C (73) (based on STAAR performance)
- School Progress: D (68) (student growth compared to schools serving similar populations)
- Closing the Gaps: D (64)
Lee Martinez Elementary earned an overall C (70 out of 100) in its first TEA rating, for the 2025-26 school year. Student Achievement is a C (73), while School Progress (68) and Closing the Gaps (64) are both rated D. With only one year of results, there is no rating history yet to show a trend.
For context, under TEA’s scale, an A rating reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized performance, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable.

It is now drawing high school zones for Creekside High School, scheduled to open in fall 2027.
Lee Martinez was carved out of the Cottonwood Creek and Hutto Elementary zones when it opened in 2025. Its zone includes Emory Crossing, part of Flora (the rest is zoned to Hutto Elementary), Meadows at Mustang Creek and part of Rivers Crossing.
To confirm the school for a specific address, use Hutto ISD’s SchoolSearch address lookup, or view the district’s elementary and middle school zone maps on its School Zones & Boundaries page. Hutto ISD’s boundary is not the same as the City of Hutto’s: some Hutto addresses are in other districts, and parts of Round Rock, including Siena and Salerno, are in Hutto ISD.
