The district redrew elementary zones for the 2025-26 school year when Lee Martinez Elementary opened, and it redrew middle school zones for 2024-25 when Gus Almquist Middle School opened. It is now drawing high school zones for Creekside High School, scheduled to open in fall 2027.
Gus Almquist draws from Veterans’ Hill Elementary (most of its zone), Kerley Elementary and the Covered Bridge side of Howard Norman Elementary. That covers Salerno, Siena, Madsen Ranch, Pioneer Crossing, Star Ranch, Wellspring and Covered Bridge, though parts of Siena, Pioneer Crossing and Madsen Ranch are zoned to Hutto Middle School instead.
