Belterra is one of Southwest Austin’s most popular neighborhoods. With top rated schools, loads of amenities and only about 15 miles from Downtown Austin, more and more people are moving west. Five of Austin’s top builders are currently building in Southwest Austin’s Belterra neighborhood, making it an ideal place to build your dream home.

Belterra Builders: Buffington

Buffington Homes builds in Belterra’s The Views, Mesa Verde Hills and Valley Oaks neighborhoods. Buffington offers several floor plans from 2,000 – 2,800 sq ft of living space. Buffington Homes are Belterra’s most affordable new homes starting in the $250,000’s.

Belterra Builders: David Weekley

David Weekley Homes builds in Belterra’s Grafton Oaks and Mesa Verde Hills. David Weekley offers several 1 and 2 story plans with 2,400 – 3,300 sq ft of living space. Priced from $279,000, David Weekley Homes are the second least expensive in Belterra.

Belterra Builders: Highland

Highland Homes has two sales offices in Belterra, one in The Views and one in Mesa Verde Hills. Highland builds in The Views, Mesa Verde Hills, The Palisades and Aspen Hills. Mesa Verde Hills is one of Belterra’s newest neighborhoods and is a great place to start if you’re looking for a view. If you’re looking for affordability, check out The Views. Highland Homes builds 14 floor plans ranging in size from 2,700 – 3,500 sq ft and are priced from $326,000.

Belterra Builders: Sitterle Homes

Sitterle Homes is new to Austin, but not new to building homes. In San Antonio for over 40 years, they’ve perfected the art of home building and has won several awards. Sitterle builds in Belterra’s Kinloch Court neighborhood and has several floor plans with 3,000 – 3,700 sq ft of living space. Sitterle Homes start at $371,000.

Belterra Builders: Treaty Oak

Treaty Oak is a family owned, Austin builder. Building in Austin for over 20 years, Treaty Oak is very selective about where they build. Currently, Treaty Oak is building in Belterra’s Kinloch Court neighborhood. With four floor plans to choose from, Treaty Oak homes range in size from 3,000 – 4,000 sq ft. Treaty Oak Homes start in the upper $300,000s.
