Canyons at Lake Travis June 2011 Update

canyons at lake travis austinThe Canyons at Lake Travis is starting to come along since our first post back in February. Partners in Building, a custom home builder, broke ground on the community in the first quarter of 2011. In March, Partners in Building, held a public open house for local neighbors and prospective home buyers giving them a sneak peak of what the new Lake Travis community will look like. Since the open house, there has been tremendous interest in the community with 2 new home sales. The homes are currently under construction and should be complete in the 3rd quarter of 2011. There is also a spec home currently under construction and a model home being built with expected completion in September.

What is Different About the Canyons at Lake Travis?

The Canyons at Lake Travis will be a small gated community with only 57 homes on 121 acres. Having so few homes on so many acres gives the opportunity to build a 4,000+ square foot home on large 1 acre+ wooded lots. Lots of this size are a rare find in the Lake Travis area. Since Partners in Building is a true custom home builder, you have several options when it comes to building a home. You can choose to build one of over 30 different floor plans, or you can choose a floor plan and make tweaks to fit your lifestyle or Partners in Building will build your own custom floor plan as long as it meets and conforms to the neighborhood. Build time is estimated at 8-10 months.
