Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
- Overall TEA Rating: A (90 out of 100)
- Student Achievement: B (88) (based on STAAR performance, graduation rates and college, career and military readiness)
- School Progress: C (74) (student growth compared to schools serving similar populations)

Dripping Springs High School earned an overall A (90 out of 100) from TEA for the 2025-26 school year, its first A in at least five years, up from a B (88) in 2024-25. It was rated B in each of the four prior years (89, 87, 87 and 88). Its Student Achievement score of B (88) reflects a 98.9% four-year graduation rate and a College, Career and Military Readiness score of 84. Closing the Gaps is an A (93), while School Progress, which measures year-over-year growth, is a C (74).
For context, under TEA’s scale, an A rating reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized performance, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable.
