Cedar Creek High School opened in the 2010-11 school year with freshman and sophomore classes, and enrollment has grown about 50 percent since 2016, to 2,158 in 2025-26. A Bond 2021 classroom addition raised its capacity to 2,100, and a 2023 bond project adds a new wing of 20 classrooms and a marching band practice site, which the district scheduled for completion around fall 2025. Kasie Stagman is the principal. For 2026-28 football, the Eagles play in District 13-5A-DI with Austin Anderson, Austin McCallum, Boerne Champion, Comal Smithson Valley, Kyle Lehman, Lockhart, Manor and Seguin. About 60 percent of students were economically disadvantaged in 2025-26. GreatSchools and TEA measure different things. GreatSchools weighs test results against schools with similar student populations, while TEA’s rating, below, is the state’s official accountability measure.
Academic Performance: Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating
In TEA’s 2025-26 accountability ratings, released in August 2026, Cedar Creek High School earned an overall B with a score of 82, up from a C (79) in 2024-25 and a D (62) in 2023-24. It earned a distinction for Postsecondary Readiness for the second year in a row and was not identified for any federal improvement status. Its graduation rate was 100 percent and its College, Career and Military Readiness score was 100 out of 100.
- Overall TEA Rating (2025-26): B (82)
- Student Achievement: B, 86 out of 100 (STAAR 64, College, Career and Military Readiness 100, graduation rate 100 percent)
- School Progress: B, 83 out of 100 (Academic Growth D/65, Relative Performance B/83)
- Closing the Gaps: C, 73 out of 100
- Distinction: Postsecondary Readiness (2024-25 and 2025-26)
- Improvement Status: Not identified for comprehensive, targeted or additional targeted support
- Prior Overall Ratings: C (77) in 2021-22, D (66) in 2022-23, D (62) in 2023-24, and C (79) in 2024-25
Under TEA’s scale, an A reflects exemplary performance, B is recognized, C is acceptable, D needs improvement, and F is unacceptable. For high schools, Student Achievement combines STAAR end-of-course results with College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) and the graduation rate. TEA builds the overall score from the better of Student Achievement or School Progress, weighted at 70 percent, plus Closing the Gaps at 30 percent. School Progress itself uses the better of Academic Growth or Relative Performance, which compares results with campuses that have a similar share of economically disadvantaged students.
Cedar Creek High’s overall score has risen 20 points since 2023-24. College, Career and Military Readiness climbed from 65 in 2023-24 to 93 in 2024-25 and 100 in 2025-26, while STAAR results, at 64, and Academic Growth, a D at 65, remain the areas with the most room to improve. School Progress is measured here through Relative Performance, which compares results with campuses serving a similar share of economically disadvantaged students. Bastrop ISD as a whole remained a C in 2025-26, and the district reported that eight of its campuses earned an A or B that year, a first for the district.

TEA’s ratings for 2022-23 and 2023-24 were released late, in 2025, after litigation over the rating system, and 2021-22 ratings labeled scores below 70 as Not Rated under Senate Bill 1365. TEA issues updated ratings annually, so verify the current rating directly with Bastrop ISD or TEA before making a decision based on it.

Cedar Creek High School Attendance Zone Map
For 2026-27, Cedar Creek High School’s zone is everything that feeds Creekside Middle and Cedar Creek Middle. That covers all of the Cedar Creek, Camino Real and Red Rock Elementary zones, the Bluebonnet zone except ValVerde, the western sections of The Colony, and Martins Meadow on the southern edge of the Adelton zone. Main neighborhoods include Riverbend at Double Eagle, Double Eagle Ranch, Railhead, Elm Ridge, River Crossing, Bluebonnet Acres, West Oaks, SilverLeaf, Twin Creeks, Los Milagros and the rural areas around Dale and Red Rock. Bastrop ISD does not offer an address lookup tool, so check the 2026-2027 high school attendance zone map on the Bastrop ISD school boundaries and maps page and confirm a specific address with the district.
The key split is inside The Colony: western sections, including Del Webb Lost Pines, are zoned to Cedar Creek High, while eastern sections go to Bastrop High School. ValVerde is in the Bluebonnet Elementary zone but goes to Bastrop Middle and Bastrop High. Any Bastrop ISD student can also apply to Colorado River Collegiate Academy, the district’s early college high school. The current boundaries were adopted by Bastrop ISD trustees in January 2025 and cover the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years. Bastrop ISD’s tenth elementary school is under construction in SilverLeaf for 2027-28, and the district has not said whether secondary zones will change with it.
Homes Zoned to Cedar Creek High School: Market Stats
The figures below cover single-family homes in Bastrop ISD sold through Unlock MLS whose addresses fall inside Cedar Creek High School’s official 2026-27 attendance zone. Rather than relying on the school name typed into each listing, we geocoded every Bastrop ISD sale and tested it against the district’s own zone maps. That matters here because the 2025 rezoning, which came with Adelton’s opening and the middle-school conversions, left many listings carrying old school names, for example homes now zoned to Adelton or Colony Oaks still tagged Mina or Bluebonnet, and older listings that predate Riverside and Creekside Middle Schools carry no middle school name for them at all. The Colony’s western sections account for the most sales in the zone, followed by Riverbend at Double Eagle, Double Eagle Ranch, Railhead and Elm Ridge.
3-Year Closed Sales Trend
| Period | Homes Sold | Median Sale Price | Median $/Sq Ft | Sale-to-List Ratio | Median Days on Market |
| Sept 2022 – Aug 2023 | 193 | $541,000 | $237.97 | 99.0% | 48 days |
| Sept 2023 – Aug 2024 | 211 | $490,303 | $220.68 | 98.0% | 65 days |
| Sept 2024 – Aug 2025 | 314 | $450,000 | $207.99 | 98.0% | 71 days |
| Trailing 12 Months (Sept 2025 – Aug 2026) | 391 | $409,990 | $188.03 | 98.0% | 83 days |
Data sourced from Unlock MLS. Statistics deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Single-family homes only. Each sale was geocoded and matched to Bastrop ISD’s official 2026-27 attendance-zone maps, so the figures reflect today’s zone rather than the school name typed into each listing; 4 Bastrop ISD listings that fell outside every zone, and 3 that could not be located, were left out.
The median sale price for homes in the Cedar Creek High School zone has fallen, from $541,000 in 2022-23 to $409,990 over the trailing twelve months, a change of about 24.2%. Median price per square foot moved from $237.97 to $188.03 (-21.0%), so the per-foot picture is softer than three years ago.
Sales volume went from 193 homes in 2022-23 to 391 in the past twelve months. Median days on market rose from 48 to 83 days, and sellers received a median of 98.0% of their final list price over the past year.
Keep the mix of homes in mind when reading these numbers. In 2022-23, acreage homes made up a large share of sales in this zone, with a median lot of about an acre. Since then, newer smaller-lot homes in The Colony, Riverbend at Double Eagle and Railhead have made up most sales, with a median lot of about a third of an acre. Much of the drop in the median sale price reflects that shift rather than a like-for-like decline in values.
